Owlbutcast
In 2022 we began a series called Owlbutcast in which we tried to make the news easier to understand
for our young followers. Owlbut and Richard could be seen chatting about an item or two of topical news.
It was very much an occasional series, when other committments allowed.
However, since we stopped it in mid-2025 we have received repeated requests to start it up again. That
is what we will do from September 2026 with a fortnightly look at what is going on in the world. It will again
take the form of a vlog, which is why it is in this section but, rather than put it on the site for our young followers
we felt the news might be something parents should watch with their children and so it is here. It probaly will be
more suitable for our older followers too. Keeping it separate from our School of the Air uploads it will appear
on a Sarurday morning (UK time); first upload 19th September.
